What to do in Aurland?
Aurland has a lot of attractions and activities to offer. Here are a few that you might want to put on your bucket list.
Stegastein Viewpoint
The wooden brigde is a spectacular viewpoint 650 meters above sea level provides a panorama view over Aurland and the fjord.
The Aurland Valley
A spectacular and scenic hike from Østerbø down to Vassbygdi, knows as Norway's "Grand Canyon". The hike is 20 km and takes about 6 hours.
Fjord Safari
Fjord Safari offers exciting high speed boat rides on the Aurlandsfjord and the Nærøyfjord.
Kayaking
Kayaking is another great way to explore the fjord. There are several companies that rent out kayaks and have guided kayak tours both in Aurland, Flåm and Gudvangen.
Fjord Cruise
Experience the Aurlandsfjord and the UNESCO World Heritage listed Nærøyfjord from one of many available fjord cruises.

Rallarvegen Cycle Route
The Rallarvegen Cycle Route is a well-known cycle route in Norway. It starts at Finse, 1222 meters above sea level, and ends in Flåm.
Undredal
Undredal is a small village in Aurland known for its well-awarded production of local goat cheese.
Flåm Zipline
With a length of 1382 meters, Flåm Zipline is the longest one in Scandinavia. The speed of approximately 100 km/h combined with the view will give you an adrenaline kick like no other.
